Why I wrote The Toxin SolutionI have been involved in medicine now for almost half a century as a researcher, student, clinician, teacher, lecturer, author and advocate at the local, state and federal levels. Over this time, I have taught tens of thousands of students and doctors, authored or co-authored 11 books, written over 100 articles in scientific journals and cared for tens of thousands of patients either directly or indirectly through sophisticated corporate wellness programs I designed and helped implement. During this time,I have seen a relentless increase in chronic disease and dramatic change in why people are becoming chronically unwell.For much of the twentieth century, the primary causes of chronic disease were nutritional deficiencies and excesses. We all know about the problems with excessive sugar, nutrient-poor food and unhealthy fat consumption. However, starting about 60 years ago, something fundamental changed. Let's use diabetes as an example of what happened.When I first started in medical research way back in 1970, diabetes was rare. In clinical practice in the late 1970s, every year I would only see just a few patients with either Type I or Type II diabetes. But now it has become one of the most common diseases seen by doctors every day affecting around 15% of the population. Taking care of people with Type II diabetes has become the most expensive of all diseases accounting for a whopping 14% of healthcare expenditures. What happened? Toxins. I lost 68 lbs in 10 weeks, and my diagnosis of Polycythemia Vera Disappeared. Although it's a little hard to follow as far as the diet and suppliments go, it can be done. Try this for the 9 weeks and watch your health soar to unbelievable levels. This book will change your life. Thank you Dr. Pizzorno !!

Totally fantastic book! A must read for everyone in this day of toxins and chemicals everywhere. A guide to reduce your exposure across food, helath adn beauty products, cleaning products, environmental and more. This is important! And if you are having health issues, they might be caused or aggravated by toxins. Dr. Pizzorno lays out a great detox plan for those who need it. Excellent read. Got the Audible version and the hardcopy for research purposes.

I am acute leukemia survivor. Chemotherapy was tough. Books like this helped me tremendously to stay alive. Recommend to everybody who wants to stay healthy. Good doctor and good nutrition and above everything faith in God.

If you only read one book in the next year and you care even just an iota about your health, you MUST READ THIS BOOK. After I researched the background of the author, there is no question in my mind that he IS NOT a charlatan, he IS very knowledgeable. I have always known that minimization of toxicity is a very important aspect of a healthy lifestyle. What I did not know is how pervasive toxicity is in so many things that affects our body. In some ways it is a bit scary to know that we are bombarded with chemicals that are carcinogenic, causes so many disfunctions in so many of our organs and systems, yet he provides a solution that does not leave you on the edge of desperation. It is akin to someone notifying you how and when a burglar is coming to rob your house; would you not want to know? Or would you rather say, if I don't know about it then I will not worry.

I purchased this book in preparation for a heavy metal detoxing and it has helped a lot it's quite informative I will be removing my amalgam filling's I needed a pre-detox & post detox & this book along with other research I have done will be very invaluable!!!

The beginning and the end of the book contain more or less well known information. But this book has valuable protocol for cleaning your colon, liver and kidney. For this reason the book is worth to buy.
